John Jung

DECAR student John Jung successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled “Towards Modular and Multi-Sensor Localization and Mapping for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles”. John’s PhD thesis was done in collaboration with our amazing industrial partner Voyis. John, and the Voyis-McGill team as a whole, have made multiple contributions to subsea navigation. John has been an indispensable contributor to this project. Moreover, John grew into a leader, supporting the junior students on the Voyis-McGill project every step of the way.
